One thing I hope you remember about me is that I love to travel!

Traveling is fun and exciting and it helps you learn about people that live other places.

This year one of our trips was to Peru.  We visited a local school and got to meet the children that were there.  The school is completely different that what you are used to.  This is a photo from their classroom.

They walk to school and home from school and are all in one room.  No matter what age they are. 

They don't always have clean clothes to wear but they make sure to be there. 

Even though these children don't have a lot of toys or a lot of clothes, they are very happy and very friendly.  They speak Spanish so they were all saying "Hola" to us and smiling.  

There are a lot of other things we learned but I wanted to make sure I told you about this school.

This little girl came up to me outside and grabbed my hand.  Then she led me into the school to show me around.  She is probably around your age.
